Policies & FAQs:

 

1. Before booking, please review my portfolio and confirm the style of photography you’re hoping for. As a photographer, I have every right to decline your shoot if your artistic direction does not fit my style of photography. 

 

2. Photos are shot in a RAW format. 

 

3. Please contact me at least 48 hours before the date of our shoot for cancellation or rescheduling. The deposit fee will be non-refundable if your cancellation occurs after 48 hours. 

 

4. Is there a deposit fee and why is there a deposit fee? 

• A non-refundable deposit fee of $50 must be sent through Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle after the client and photographer has confirmed the date of the shoot for all tiers of shoot. A deposit is to assure that a client does not withdraw after the 48 hours policy. 

 

5. The rest of the payment must be paid on the day of the shoot once the photographer has finished shooting with the client. Final photos will not be sent until the final payment is made. 

 

6. Is there a location fee? 

• I will not charge a location fee unless the second or third location is 20+ minutes  further away from the previous location, in which case, it will be an additional $15 per location. 

 

7. May I add another outfit to the package? 

• Please note that we will be shooting within your selected timeframe. By adding another outfit, please consider the duration you take to change in and out of another outfit and the additional cost of $20. The amount of photos you receive will not change despite adding another outfit. 

 

8. Small-scaled revisions (such as exposure, sharpening, etc.) are allowed up to 3 times. 

 

9. Small-scaled skin smoothening and facial retouches are allowed with selected photos by the client (10 or less photos). 

 

10. Clients or any other outside party are not allowed to retouch finalized photos. 

 

11. When will I receive my photos? 

• Within 1-2 weeks. 

 

12. Final photos will be uploaded to Pixieset, an online gallery, where the photos will remain for 60 days before being cleared. 

 

13. Sharing policies:

• When sharing photographs through various social media sites, the photographer's name, Vy Nguyen, must be credited or is written as “suburbancinema via Instagram”.

 

• Photos must not be reproduced and reprinted elsewhere for profit and without photographer’s credit. 

 

• I always post my photos whether that is on a handout or to my social media pages to market myself and improve my portfolio. If you do not want your photos to be uploaded, please make it clear to me! Thank you!

14. Please note that photos remain legally Suburban Cinema's despite client's access. Photos may be submitted to online publications or zines in which I will contact you directly to confirm!
